Come Out and Play Festival

City of Play’s seventh annual Come Out and Play festival is a free celebration of new and innovative games from around the world. It’s one of three festivals of its type in the US. This year’s CO&P Festival returns to Schenley Plaza in Oakland on October 1st, in conjunction with the Oakland Forever Festival.

CO&P kicks off at about 2pm with Field Games and Family Games, a selection of games for all ages. The festival transitions to After Dark at 6pm, with a variety of new and unique social, street, and digital games.

From 10pm-12am, you can join in Fantastic Adventure, a city-wide pervasive game that's part treasure hunt, part capture-the-flag, and part immersive theater. Fantastic Adventure is 21+ and the only part of the festival that's ticketed.
